Job Title: Application Support / System Administrator – Finance
Location: West Surrey (2–3 days on-site per week)
Type: 6-Month Contract (Contract-to-Hire Potential)
Start Date: Immediate
We’re looking for a proactive Application Support / System Administrator to join a finance-focused technology team supporting Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and other finance applications. This role offers hands-on involvement in system support, maintenance, and enhancement across a dynamic financial systems environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), including customisations and ISV add-ons.
- Support and maintain the IBM Cloud Planning Analytics platform used for group financial consolidation and reporting.
- Manage user access and security roles within finance systems, ensuring segregation of duties and compliance.
- Oversee environment and lifecycle management using Microsoft LCS, including database refreshes and system configurations.
- Lead change and release management, including testing and implementation of patches and upgrades.
- Work with 3rd parties on system upgrades and enhancements, using Azure DevOps and LCS for D365 F&O.
- Monitor systems with LCS and Azure Monitor to ensure reliability and performance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation using Power Platform, MS Copilot, Logic Apps, and Azure Integration Services.
- Perform configuration, maintenance, and system updates aligned with business needs.
- Collaborate with finance and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 2–4 years’ project experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Experience supporting financial systems and reporting platforms.
- Familiarity with ITIL / ITSM best practices; experience with ITSM tools is a plus.
- Strong stakeholder communication and ability to work in a fast-paced, self-managed environment.
- Solid technical background in environment management, change control, and data integrity.
