Exciting Opportunity: HR Advisor – 6-Month Contract

Mobile Telecoms | Hybrid (Greater Reading Area)

Are you an HR professional with a passion for employee relations and a knack for providing solid advice in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for a HR Advisor or Junior HR Business Partner to join a dynamic telecoms team for a 6-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a group of HR Business Partners and make a real impact in a rapidly evolving industry.


Location: Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office (Greater Reading Area)

Contract Length: 6 months


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support 3 HR Business Partners in delivering effective HR services across the business, particularly in employee relations.
  • Provide first-line advice on HR issues and manage employee relations (ER) cases, ensuring compliance and fairness throughout.
  • Apply your solid knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices to handle a range of employee-related matters with pragmatism and professionalism.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from junior staff to senior leaders, and act as a reliable advisor on HR matters.
  • Manage sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism, ensuring employees feel heard and respected.
  • Balance multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, discretion, and sound judgment in your decision-making.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A solid foundation in HR, with hands-on experience in employee relations within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and the ability to apply it effectively in real-world situations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders across the organization.
  • An empathetic approach to managing sensitive issues, with the ability to handle challenging conversations with care.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and a strong eye for detail to maintain data integrity and keep HR records accurate.
