Junior Legal Counsel (NQ-2 PQE) in City of London

Job description

I’m working with a fast-growth, early-stage energy business at the forefront of green hydrogen infrastructure in the UK and beyond. As they scale into their next phase — including a European expansion — they’re looking to hire a Junior Legal Counsel (NQ–2 PQE) to support their small but highly engaged legal team.

The role is broad and hands-on, ideal for a newly qualified solicitor keen to cut their teeth in the world of energy infrastructure and project delivery.

You’ll work across:

• High-volume commercial contracts (NDAs, supply, consultancy)
• Power Purchase and Gas Sales Agreements
• Grid connection and construction contracts
• Live project legal support across multiple UK and international sites

The pace is demanding, the environment ever evolving, and the legal team plays a pivotal role in the company’s growth. If you're a junior lawyer with experience in energy, projects, or commercial contracts — or currently in-house and looking to transition into the renewables space — this could be an excellent opportunity.
