Hobson Prior is working alongside a biotech company seeking a Contract Operations Administrator to join their team. This role involves implementation of a new digital contract management system to centralize the storage and management of all commercial and subcontracts. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Contract Management System Administrator to join our Legal and Compliance department.
This role will be crucial in supporting the administration of the new system and assisting with various legal administrative tasks.
Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary champion and super-user of the new contract management system, developing expert knowledge of its functionalities and best practices.
- Supporting and leading ancillary projects to expand the use of the system within the business.
- Provide training and support to business stakeholders across the organization on the effective use of the contract management system.
- Review contractual documents to identify and extract key information for data input.
- Redact commercially sensitive information from agreements as required.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all data entered the contract management system through meticulous attention to detail.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders to ensure consistency in data management and system utilization.
- Perform various legal administrative tasks as needed to support the Legal and Compliance department.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A proactive and inquisitive individual with a keen interest in, or experience of, working with contracts and/or legal documents.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and technologies efficiently and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in data input.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, ensuring consistent outputs.
- Experience with data entry and information management systems is desirable.
- Familiarity with contract redacting processes is a plus.
