Role: Locum Planning & Highways Solicitor/Lawyer

Salary: £50-£60 per hour

Location: Fully remote

Hours: Flexible (part-time and full-time options available)

Duration: 3 month initial contract- likely to be extended

Role Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality legal advice and services to various departments, ensuring legal soundness in policy and operational decisions.
• Draft legal documents and agreements, and assist in negotiations, litigation, and advocacy.
• Collaborate with project teams and offer legal training and guidance.
• Manage legal caseloads with minimal supervision, including attending meetings and providing legal representation when needed.
• Stay updated on legal developments and ensure the effective implementation of best practices.
• Provide advice and guidance on risk, policy, and legal matters as required.
