Breeam Assessor in Leeds

Calibre Search is looking for an Breeam Assessor in Leeds

Job description

Role - BREEAM & Sustainability Engineer

Location - Leeds (hybrid and flexible working)

Salary - £35k - £50k (Flexible depending upon experience and hours)

Many BREEAM Assessor roles offer siloed working, limited career opportunities, and the frustration of working on a limited range of schemes or the same old project partners.

Not this one of them!

You’ll be joining a lively, multi-disciplinary team with a Leeds office base, but scope to work remotely for the majority of the time.

There is a structure in place, and the only thing limiting its growth is not having you on the team. They have the work, offer the support, what they need is your skills to fuel their development through your own.

Your Role

You’ll be working alongside experienced BREEAM Assessors with a relaxed and focused vibe as a team; they all know that BREEAM Assessment isn’t always easy!

The main focus is on managing BREEAM assessments, particularly under New Construction V6.1. You’ll be working on a range of schemes, both new build and refurbishment, residential and non-domestic.

Your Background

It’s essential that you:

  • are a registered BREEAM Assessor.
  • Have experience delivering BREEAM New Construction V6.1 Schemes.
  • Possess strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • are highly organised and self-motivated, with the ability to manage deadlines.

It is also desirable that you hold:

  • BREEAM Accredited Professional (AP) status.
  • Experience with other frameworks (e.g. WELL, LEED, DREAM, NABERS).

Working Arrangements

  • Hybrid working: ideally in the office 1–2 days per week, but flexible.
  • Sector background is not critical – the documentation and processes are consistent across sectors.

What’s on Offer

  • 33 days holiday (25 plus 8 statutory).
  • Company pension and healthcare contribution schemes.
  • Cycle to Work scheme.
  • Support for professional development, including BREEAM AP/WELL accreditation.
  • Friendly team culture with regular social events.
