Job description

We are looking for a British 2nd Officer to join a SOV/W2W vessel,

Joining on the 30th July for a 1 week overlap followed by a 4 week rotation, working on 24 hour operations,

The work will be UK based,

Day Rate - £289.46

Ideally British or British Passport holder,

Requirements:

• STCW Reg. II/1 Officer of the watch (OOW) - Unlimited
• DP Certificate Unlimited
• GMDSS Certificate (GOC)
• ECDIS (A-II/1) Model 1.27, part of the CoC certificate
• ECDIS equipment - type based familiarisation onboard*
• STCW A-VI/1-1: Personal survival techniques
• STCW A-VI/1-2: Fire prevention and fire fighting
• STCW A-VI/1-3: Elementary first aid
• STCW A-VI/1-4: Personal safety and social responsibilities
• STCW A-VI/2-1: Survival craft and rescue boats, not fast rescue boat
• STCW A-VI/3: Advanced fire fighting
• STCW A-VI/4-1: Medical first aid
• STCW A-VI/6-4, VI/6-1: Security awareness for seafarers with designated duties
• Opito HUET including CA-EBS and shoulder measurement
