Head of Risk Strategy

Our Life and Pensions client is looking for a highly skilled Head of Risk Strategy to join their team for a 3 months initial contract

Skills Required:

• Ability to design and evolve a Enterprise Risk Management Framework that is practical, scalable and relevant to the business
• Has first hand experience of writing an ORSA for a life and pensions company; and of producing Board and Exec level reporting that is impactful on the top risks affecting the Group
• Deep understanding of the traditional risks types that could affect a life company – like credit, capital and liquidity, operational and conduct; and growing knowledge of emerging tech/AI and data risks
• Solid experience of leading stress and scenario testing at an enterprise level and being able to identify severe but plausible risks to our business model.
• Strong understanding of existing and emerging UK regulation and ability to translate into a practical risk strategies for the business.
• An experienced risk professional from an actuarial/Finance background.
