Head of Department (Court of Protection – Property & Affairs)

Location: Hybrid - UK based with regular travel to the North West

Salary: Competitive (DOE/PQE) + On Target Bonus

What’s does it involve?

• Managing the performance and development of your team
• Overseeing technical quality, compliance, and service delivery
• Monitoring and improving departmental KPIs and financial performance
• Playing a key role in the firm’s wider leadership and strategic planning
• Driving innovation and best practice in a tech-enabled legal environment
• Managing a reduced caseload

Who are we looking for?

• Significant Grade A experience in Court of Protection – Property & Affairs
• Prior experience managing people (even if not formally in a HoD role)
• A natural leader - confident, commercially aware, and supportive
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across all levels
• Ambition to shape and grow a high-performing department
