Estimator (open to intermediate or senior) | £50,000 - £85,000 + package | London/Essex | Main Contractor (Social Housing) | Permanent

Do you prefer to work on projects that make a real difference to people? Upgrading kitchens, bathrooms and services in residents’ homes. If so, this could be for you.

We are working in partnership with a well-established main contractor based near the Essex/Herts border. Social Housing is their bread and butter – planned works, voids, refurb and retrofit programmes across London and the South East.Long-standing client relationships, strong frameworks, a down-to-earth culture, and a genuine commitment to doing things properly is the order of the day here.

We are looking for an estimator – intermediate or senior – to join their pre-construction team.

Someone who knows how to build a bid from first principles, who’s confident in the numbers and who can work closely with ops, supply chain, and clients to price work that stacks up.

You’ll need experience in social housing or a related sector – and you’ll get the chance to work on meaningful, well-run projects where quality really matters. Of equal importance is a good personality and humility, with the understanding that the collective strength of the team is greater than any one individual.
