Phlebotomist – Part-Time

Location: Abingdon OX14 4SE

Schedule: Approximately 2.5 hours per morning, Monday–Wednesday

Contract Length: 7–8 months

Role Overview

Seeking a skilled and reliable Phlebotomist to support diagnostic services at a clinical site in Abingdon. This part-time role involves blood collection both on-site and across surrounding areas, requiring travel locally. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently and providing high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venepuncture and collect blood samples efficiently and safely
• Travel to designated nearby locations to provide phlebotomy services
• Follow proper sample labeling, documentation, and transport protocols
• Maintain accurate patient records and respect privacy and confidentiality
• Deliver professional and compassionate patient interactions

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience working as a Phlebotomist
• Comfortable working mornings on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
• Car and drivers license
• Willing to travel locally for mobile sample collection
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and uphold clinical standards
