Are you a nurturing and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner looking for a new role in September?


We’re working with one of the largest nursery groups in the UK who are looking to appoint a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join their team and support the development of young children in their crucial early learning stages.


About the Role:

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in creating a safe, fun, and stimulating environment where children feel happy, confident, and ready to explore the world around them. You will support the room leader and other staff with daily routines, learning activities, and care needs, helping to lay the foundations for future learning.


Early Years Practitioner Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children aged 0–5 in their daily learning and play activities
  • Assisting in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Helping with feeding, toileting, and general personal care as required
  • Observing and recording children’s progress and reporting back to key workers or room leaders
  • Creating a safe and engaging learning environment, indoors and outdoors
  • Supporting children with varying needs, including those with SEND


Early Years Practitioner Non-Negotiables

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (or equivalent)
  • Experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting
  • A warm, patient, and caring approach to working with young children
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
