About the Job


Partner, Head of Agricultural Property - Up to £125,000 salary + Bonus


This is a fantastic opportunity to join an award-winning regional law firm that offers specialist sector-specific legal advice to clients across Lancashire and Cumbria.


The firm is recognised as an employer of choice within the legal sector and has grown at a pace unrivalled by other firms in the North West. Due to the continuing expansion of the firm, the firm seeks to appoint an experienced rural and agricultural solicitor to join the Head up the Rural Property department.


The team handles an exciting and varied workload, acting for investors, lenders, high-profile entrepreneurs and large estate owners.


The ideal candidate will have experience advising and representing clients on issues relating to rural land ownership and agricultural matters and have strong technical proficiency and knowledge of farm business tenancies, secured lending, farm partnerships and succession rights.


The firm has offices throughout Lancashire and Cumbria, and all locations are commutable via train and public transport, with parking available at various locations.


The Candidate


  • Qualified Solicitor/Partner with 7+ years of post-qualification experience
  • Excellent technical skills and legal expertise in this sector
  • Accomplished in business development activities and ability to build own network
  • Strong legal and leadership skills with an eye for detail
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
