Job description

Technical Recruiter - Mid-Senior Level

Location: Hybrid (London)

Employment type: Full-time

About intro

intro is a specialist recruitment consultancy founded in 2020, now working with high growth startups and scaleups across fintech, SaaS, and emerging tech. We’ve built a reputation for high quality, relationship led recruitment, connecting teams and talent globally, from London to Madrid to New York.

We’re a humble team of 2 currently, growing steadily but intentionally. Trust and honesty guide everything we do, with our clients, candidates, and each other. No smoke and mirrors, just straightforward, impactful hiring. Our clients range from seed stage startups through to unicorns, and we’re trusted to deliver on business critical roles in engineering, product, and leadership.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter who’s ready to step into a high impact position. You’ll manage end to end recruitment processes (360), build strong client partnerships, and deliver exceptional candidate experiences.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast paced startup environment, enjoys autonomy, and wants exposure to exciting high growth companies.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and manage full 360 recruitment across tech roles (engineering, product, security, etc.)
  • Build and nurture relationships with hiring managers and candidates globally
  • Deliver high quality shortlists with a focus on cultural and technical fit
  • Develop business opportunities and grow accounts through exceptional delivery
  • Provide consultative insights to clients on market trends, salary benchmarking, and hiring strategies
  • Represent intro’s brand in a professional, approachable, and human way

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 2-4+ years in tech recruitment (agency or in house), ideally with exposure to startups/scaleups recruiting for hard to fill and niche technical positions
  • 360 Mindset: Comfortable balancing BD and delivery, or open to transitioning into 360 if currently delivery focused
  • Market Knowledge: Familiarity with tech roles (e.g., software engineering, DevOps, product) and how to qualify them effectively
  • Drive & Autonomy: Able to work independently, prioritise effectively, and hit the ground running
  • Relationship Builder: Strong communicator who values long term partnerships over transactional deals
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a small, fast growing business where no 2 days are the same

Why Join intro?

  • Work closely with the founder and other experienced team members, gaining exposure to all aspects of scaling a boutique consultancy
  • Access to exciting, high growth clients (seed to unicorn) across Europe, US, and beyond
  • Hybrid working with flexibility (we care about outcomes, not micromanagement)
  • Competitive base salary + commission
  • Opportunity to grow into a senior/principal role quickly as we scale
  • Located in a high end co working space near Liverpool Street Station, offering flexible working in a vibrant City location
