Digital Product Owner

£45-55k DOE + Benefits + Bonus

Leeds, West Yorkshire (hybrid working)


Our client is looking for a Digital Product Owner who will take on the management of key digital initiatives within a dynamic and fast-paced online team. Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce, you’ll act as a Digital Product Owner and work with internal development teams and a third party to optimise and leverage the platforms to drive improvements across all sites.

Responsibilities

● Working closely with internal stakeholders, developers and third parties to drive optimisations and improvements via the platform.

● Managing multiple digital product initiatives at a time, including: defining, planning, running and delivering on time and measuring performance.

● Influence the external platform roadmap with strong reasoning and analytical skills and lead the internal development roadmap.

● Write and review requirements and specifications, and drive the product development schedule from design to release.

● Manage and co-ordinate UAT across the team and with wider stakeholders

● Contribute to the Platform team plan, strategy and prioritisation of projects and features.

● Work closely with cross-functional departments, key stakeholders, partners and suppliers – ensuring clear lines of communication are established.

Requirements

● Experience in product management and a strong knowledge of the development life cycle is essential.

● Ability to use data and insight to influence decision making and prioritisation.

● A thirst for knowledge and desire to understand the platform and leverage it.

● Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise a range of projects at any one time; ensuring deadlines are hit within an agile environment.

● The ability to translate business problem statements into user stories.

● Your written and verbal communication skills must be second to none – structured, clear, and tailored for a wide range of audiences.

● The ability to champion change and improvements, pace and simplicity in a fast-moving, commercially focused environment.

● Proficiency in agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
