Job description

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Officer to join our client’s in-house team. This role supports procurement and contract administration for a leading real estate developer in the residential sector.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction and consultancy contracts, coupled with a solid grasp of efficient procurement processes. You’ll take charge of managing contracts, building vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities include overseeing contracts, managing suppliers, developing procurement strategies, monitoring performance, and ensuring risk and compliance management. You’ll also lead construction contract negotiations and maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
What You’ll Bring
You’ll have a bachelor’s degree and be working towards or already holding CIPS Level 4 or a similar qualification. Proven experience managing end-to-end procurement processes with minimal supervision is essential, as is proficiency with contract management software and procurement tools. 
Experience with residential developments is desirable, alongside a good understanding of regulatory requirements and sustainability standards in the sector. Strong negotiation skills, clear communication, and the ability to work effectively with project teams are key.
