Food and Beverage Buyer

Central London - Hybrid

Salary - £40k - £60k dependant on experience

We’re looking for a Food & Beverage Buyer to join a high-performing commercial team within the travel retail sector.

We're working with a market-leading travel retail business, operating across airports, and transport hubs worldwide. Their mission is to enhance the travel experience by offering world-class products, tailored to the diverse tastes of global consumers. As part of their commercial growth, they're expanding their food and beverage offering


The Role:

As a Food & Beverage Buyer, you will be responsible for:

  • Sourcing & Range Development: Curating an exciting, commercially viable assortment of food and beverage products tailored to the travel retail audience.
  • Supplier Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with global and local suppliers, negotiating terms, and managing performance.
  • Category Strategy: Driving category performance through data analysis, consumer insights, and trend forecasting.
  • Commercial Planning: Collaborating with merchandising, marketing, and operations teams to execute pricing, promotions, and product launches effectively.
  • Compliance & Logistics: Ensuring products meet regulatory standards and are delivered efficiently across international locations.

Role requirements:

  • Proven experience in food and beverage buying, ideally within retail, travel, or hospitality.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • A keen eye for trends and a passion for product innovation.
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple international stakeholders and complex supply chains.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, change-driven environment.
