THE CLIENT

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established studio known for designing impactful services and driving meaningful change across public and private sector organisations — from transport and health to finance and government.

There’s currently a mix of other Service Design Mid-weights and Seniors, who all report to the Design Director. Currently 5-strong but aiming to get to double figures (including contractors) by next year.

This is an opportunity to learn from more experienced designers and grow your Service Design profile through a range of projects you’ll be supporting on.

THE ROLE

As a mid-weight Service Designer, you’ll contribute to end-to-end design projects – from research and discovery to concept development and delivery. You’ll work closely with the wider team to co-create better service experiences for users and organisations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and conducting user research
  • Mapping customer journeys and identifying opportunity areas
  • Designing and iterating service concepts
  • Facilitating workshops and co-design sessions
  • Producing service blueprints, design artefacts, and strategic insights

THE CANDIDATE

  • Previous experience as a Service Designer (at least 2 years, roughly)
  • Proficiency with service design methods and tools (e.g. Journey mapping, service blueprints)
  • Strong communicator and happy to work in agency-environment (bonus points if you have done before)
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders, running workshops, and presenting work
  • Experience working in complex domains (e.g. Public sector, finance, healthcare, mobility)
  • You have a portfolio which shows your service design process and deliverables.

If this sounds like you then please apply with your CV & PORTFOLIO asap to stand the best chance of getting an interview!
