Position: PMO (Project Management Officer)

location: Broughton

Pay Rate: £37.02 p/h inside IR35.

Work Pattern: Onsite

Role Type: 12 Month contract with Extension

An exciting opportunity exists to join our Manufacturing Engineering department, supporting projects within the wide-body aerospace sector. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Management Officer to drive best practice governance, methods, and tools across our manufacturing engineering programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert project management support, ensuring robust governance, structure, and practices.
• Work closely with manufacturing project leaders to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Coach and upskill teams on best practice project management, Agile WoW, and Scrum methods.
• Develop and maintain E2E project plans, control changes, track milestones, and identify critical paths.
• Drive Risk & Opportunity Management, Earned Value Management, and KPI reporting.
• Support stakeholder engagement, communication, and alignment across projects and operations.
• Partner with Finance to track costs, resources, and progress against plans.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of project management principles and tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or engineering environments (preferred).
