SME Account Handler in Bradford

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of the UK’s leading independent insurance broking and risk management companies based in Bradford.

They are looking for a Commercial SME Account Handler to join their recently established direct client team, and be responsible for the servicing and retention of an existing portfolio of clients.

Main duties will include:

• Building strong relationships with clients to better understand their insurance needs
• Handle premiums up to c£20,000
• Working with a broad range of clients, including, Property Owners, Retailers, Manufacturers, Motor Traders, Fleets and Professions
• Dealing with renewals and pro-actively ensuring a high retention level
• Communicating with Underwriters on a daily basis and maintaining good relationships
• Broking risks for new business and renewals
• Refer any claims through to the dedicated team
• Working closely with the Corporate Broking team
• Using the Acturis system and a selection of EDI platforms on a daily basis
