【About the Role】
As JD’s Talent & Development Specialist, you’ll be the driving force behind creating seamless global onboarding experiences and impactful talent initiatives that align with our fast-paced, innovation-first culture. From orchestrating LMS rollouts to designing workshops that upskill our teams, you’ll ensure every employee, from warehouse ops to online retails teams start strong and grows smarter.
Collaborating with the Culture, Talent & Development team, and regional HRBP teams, you’ll turn data into actionable insights, refine programs for maximum engagement, and support peers to elevate our collective impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead global initiatives, e.g., global onboarding, future talent programs or talent development initiatives, ensuring alignment with JD’s culture and operational needs.
- Coordinate talent development projects e.g., LMS rollouts, leadership workshops from planning to evaluation.
- Design and curate learning content e.g., e-modules, toolkits that reflect JD’s tech-driven culture and supply chain expertise.
- Analyze program effectiveness using data-driven insights to recommend improvements and ensure compliance with local labor laws/ethics.
- Collaborate with regional HR teams to adapt programs for cultural relevance and provide support and guidance on L&D best practices.
Core Skills & Behaviours:
- Strong organizational skills with proficiency in project management tools.
- Agile methodologies for iterative project delivery in JD’s fast-paced environment.
- Ability to balance high-level planning with hands-on execution.
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure seamless execution of global initiatives.
- Proficiency in LMS platforms e.g., Workday and HRIS tools.
- Strong data analysis skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3–5 years in talent development, L&D coordination, or HR project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
- CIPD Level 3/5, Project Management Professional (PMP), or Association for Talent Development (ATD) certifications would be prefered.
- Proven track record in talent & development project coordination and delivery, preferably in retail/tech industry.
