Role Description:

Denholm Industrial Services is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Marine Division, supporting ongoing operations within a major client contract.

Reports to: Project Director


Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing all commercial functions across the contract, from initial instruction to final account.
  • Handling job costing, forecasting, cost control, and accurate reporting.
  • Managing variations and commercial risks to ensure full compliance with contractual and business requirements.
  • Providing clear and timely reporting to support monthly management accounts and site performance reviews.
  • Supporting operational teams by ensuring accurate, transparent commercial data and cost reporting throughout project delivery.


Working closely with:

  • Marine Director (Commercial)
  • Site Management & Supervision Teams
  • Finance and Accounts Teams
  • Clients and project stakeholders

  

Qualifications:

  • Solid experience (Minimum 3 years) in a Quantity Surveyor or commercial role, ideally within marine, industrial, or construction sectors
  • A good understanding of project lifecycle commercial requirements, with a proactive and problem-solving approach
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • A trustworthy, detail-oriented professional committed to delivering results and supporting team success
