Paediatric Occupational Therapist - SI Trained.

£60 p/h.

Paid via LTD company.

Located in Nottingham.

Flexible working - 1/2 days per week.

Essential:

Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
Postgraduate training and certification in Sensory Integration.
Experience working with children with autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and learning disabilities.
Strong knowledge of sensory integration theory and practice.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and family-centred practice skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, including standardised sensory integration assessments, to identify strengths and areas of need.
Develop and deliver evidence-based intervention plans tailored to the sensory and functional needs of each child.
Collaborate with families, education staff, and other health professionals to ensure a holistic, coordinated approach.
Provide direct therapy sessions in clinical, home, or school settings, utilising Ayres Sensory Integration principles.
Support the development and implementation of sensory strategies and sensory diets to enhance self-regulation and engagement.
Deliver education and training sessions to parents, carers, and school staff around sensory processing and environmental adaptations.
