Paediatric Occupational Therapist - SI Trained.

£60 p/h.

Paid via LTD company.

Located in Nottingham.

Flexible working - 1/2 days per week.


Essential:


  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
  • Postgraduate training and certification in Sensory Integration.
  • Experience working with children with autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and learning disabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of sensory integration theory and practice.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and family-centred practice skills.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, including standardised sensory integration assessments, to identify strengths and areas of need.
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based intervention plans tailored to the sensory and functional needs of each child.
  • Collaborate with families, education staff, and other health professionals to ensure a holistic, coordinated approach.
  • Provide direct therapy sessions in clinical, home, or school settings, utilising Ayres Sensory Integration principles.
  • Support the development and implementation of sensory strategies and sensory diets to enhance self-regulation and engagement.
  • Deliver education and training sessions to parents, carers, and school staff around sensory processing and environmental adaptations.
