Interim ERP Procurement Lead – Local Authority (Outside IR35)

Duration: 3 - 6 Months (with potential extension)

Status: Outside IR35

We are seeking an experienced ERP Procurement Lead to support a Local Authority through a critical phase of ERP procurement system optimisation. This is a high-impact interim role requiring a blend of technical expertise, stakeholder engagement, and strategic insight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead procurement data reconciliation and analysis across complex ERP systems
• Support the implementation and optimisation of SAP Ariba and S4Hana platforms
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with the Procurement Act 2023
• Manage and maintain contract registers within regulated environments
• Provide strategic input into procurement processes and system configurations
• Deliver insights and reporting using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and related tools

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven ability to track down, assimilate, and reconcile complex data sets
• Comfortable working in high-pressure environments with agility to meet evolving business needs
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels
• Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba and S4Hana
• Familiarity with contract register databases and regulated procurement environments
• Deep understanding of local government procurement frameworks and systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and associated analytical tools
• Working knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023 and its compliance requirements
