HR Business Partner
Location: Wimbledon (must be within reasonable commuting distance)
Salary: £47,500 - £52,500
Working Hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm (5:00pm finish on Fridays)
Hybrid Working: 3/2 split – Tuesday is a core office day
Are you a confident and proactive HR professional looking to take the next step in your career? We’re seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving people strategy, managing complex employee relations, and supporting organisational change.
Key Responsibilities
As our HR Business Partner, you’ll be responsible for:
- Employee Relations Management: Handling a high volume of ER cases (15-20 at any one time), including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence matters.
- TUPE Transfers: Leading or supporting TUPE processes, ensuring smooth transitions and compliance with legal obligations.
- Strategic HR Support: Partnering with business leaders to align HR initiatives with organisational goals.
- Change Management: Supporting restructures, redundancies, and other change programmes with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Policy & Procedure Development: Advising on and implementing HR policies in line with best practice and employment law.
- Coaching & Development: Providing guidance and coaching to managers on people-related matters.
- Data & Reporting: Using HR metrics and data to inform decision-making and identify trends.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Building strong relationships across the business to influence and support people strategies.
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Extensive ER Experience - You’ve managed 20+ employee relations cases simultaneously and can demonstrate your approach and outcomes.
- TUPE Knowledge - You’ve either led or supported TUPE processes and understand the complexities involved.
- Private Sector Background - You’ve worked in fast-paced, commercially driven environments and understand the nuances of private sector HR.
- CIPD Qualified - You hold CIPD Level 5 or above, with a solid foundation in employment law and HR best practice.
- Agility & Pace - You’re sharp, responsive, and thrive in environments where priorities shift quickly.
- Strong Communication Skills - You’re confident in advising stakeholders at all levels and can translate complex HR issues into practical solutions.
