CREDIT RISK LEAD

£80,000

This role offer the change to take the lead for the Credit Risk Function of a close-knit, impact-driven lender. They pride themselves on customer experience and this role is pivotal for shaping their future strategy and direction of the business.

THE COMPANY

We’re working with an exciting London Lender that are in an exciting period of growth. They are well established in their lending and are now looking to grow out their analytics function, with the opportunity to really influence the direction of the business. This is a unique opportunity for someone to really add value and progress into the long term.

THE ROLE

Within this, you can expect to work on:

• Developing lending strategies and broader insight into their lending book and portfolio performance
• Using Open Banking data to enhance lending and drive business decisions
• Working closely to analyse and monitor customer data to identify new business opportunities and space for growth
• Opportunity to build out the wider analytics function as the business grows
• Working on wider scorecard monitoring and implementation to improve lending decisions

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Background in consumer lending is essential
• Prior experience in developing and implementing credit strategies and wider portfolio analysis
• Understanding of and exposure to credit scoring models is highly desirable
• Experience working with Open Banking data is highly desirable
• Experience using SQL is essential
• Prior line management experience highly desirable
