Management Accountant

Location: Nottingham City Centre (Hybrid – Tues/Weds/Thurs in the office)

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 + bonus + study support (if needed)

Bonus: Up to £2,000 annually, paid quarterly

Contract: Permanent | Full time | Hybrid working

As Management Accountant, you’ll be working closely with the Financial Controller and a wider qualified team. You’ll have exposure to the full monthly cycle, drive process improvements using modern systems, and have the opportunity to mentor and support junior team members. There’s also plenty of scope to progress, with future opportunities in areas like FP&A, commercial finance, or team leadership.

What you’ll be doing:

• Producing monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Assisting with year-end and external audit
• Overseeing sales and purchase ledger functions
• Managing and developing junior finance staff
• Supporting continuous improvement using tools such as Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, Power BI and Copilot

What we’re looking for:

• Part-qualified or fully qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
• Background in either practice or industry (management accounts experience required if coming from industry)
• Strong Excel skills and a confident communicator
• Someone who’s ambitious, detail-driven and eager to make a difference
