Head of Property - National Retailer in South East

A market-leading, customer-centric national Retailer is seeking a strategic and commercially astute Head of Property to lead its UK & Ireland estates portfolio. This is a high-impact leadership role, responsible for driving new store acquisitions, managing a complex estate, and delivering value through proactive asset and lease management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all property activity across acquisitions, relocations, and expansions.
• Oversee asset management: lease renewals, rent reviews, and re-gears.
• Manage an annual rent roll of ~£80m, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
• Coach and develop a high-performing property team and external consultants.
• Act as lead advisor on property matters across retail, head office, and supply chain assets.
• Champion continuous improvement, operational excellence, and cost control.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, agents, and internal stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring:

• Proven leadership in property strategy and estates management.
• Strong commercial acumen and deep knowledge of UK & ROI landlord & tenant law.
• Experience managing outsourced consultants and legal partners.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
• A collaborative, people-focused approach and track record of building high-performing teams.
