London - Hybrid (50% office / 50% remote) | Permanent |£78,000 to £93,000


Are you a senior HR generalist who loves hands-on delivery?

This is your chance to step into a brand-new Head of HR role with a purpose-led, fast-growing global NGO making an impact.


We’re looking for an experienced, globally minded Head of HR to lead a growing team, embed people strategy, and deliver high-impact global HR projects. Over time, there’s clear scope to progress to HR Director as the organisation scales internationally.


The Role

This isn’t a “sit back and advise” role – it’s a blend of getting things done and strategic partnering. You’ll lead a small team, embed a people strategy, and deliver projects with real global impact.


Key priorities:

  • Lead, coach & develop the HR team
  • Deliver strategic initiatives – talent management, workforce planning, global policies
  • Partner with senior leaders on organisational design
  • Oversee a new global HRIS launch
  • Support international expansion with compliant HR set-ups
  • Drive efficiency & innovation through digital tools & AI


About You

A confident, globally experienced HR generalist with a track record of building teams, shaping strategy & delivering results. Or a Senior HRBP with management experience looking for an organisation that will support your growth. This is a hands-on role so will suit someone who is practical and enjoys rolling up their sleeves but can think big picture when needed.


We’re looking for:

  • HR qualification (CIPD L7 or equivalent) with senior HR leadership experience
  • Global HR expertise essential & multi-country compliance knowledge
  • Proven HR systems & process implementation
  • Strong reward, payroll & benefits experience
  • Complex employee relations management
  • Organisational development & change leadership
  • EDI strategy delivery
  • Strong analytics and data skills
  • L&D strategy design & delivery
  • Excellent communication & influencing skills
  • Financial acumen for cost-conscious decision-making
