People Business Partner
London (Hybrid, with London HQ – 2/3 days a week)
£50-60,000 + car allowance + bonus + benefits.
A leading global outsourcing business is seeking an experienced People Business Partner to join its UK HR team, supporting a division of approx 500 people.
In this high-impact role, the People Business Partner will work closely with operational leaders to drive people initiatives, strengthen management capability, and embed best HR practices that protect the brand and support business growth. Acting as a trusted adviser, coach, and change driver, they will ensure the people strategy directly supports overall business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as a go-to HR expert for operational managers, providing guidance on employee relations, absence management, and best practice.
- Leading TUPE processes from consultation through to contract accuracy checks and supporting both pre- and post-contract transitions.
- Driving organisational change initiatives in partnership with the People Director, ensuring the right skills are in place to support growth.
- Coaching leaders to deliver exceptional people management and improve HR metrics such as turnover and absence.
- Embedding organisational culture through engagement programmes, awards, and induction experiences.
- Using HR data and insights to influence decision-making and minimise risk.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong HR generalist background with extensive Employee Relations experience.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to balance business priorities with people needs.
- Proven experience in leading complex change programmes and TUPE processes.
- Strong influencing, coaching, and senior stakeholder management skills.
- A passion for driving engagement, improving retention, and building a high-performance culture.
- A background and career history ideally in Retail, FM or other fast paced multisite organisations.
