Job description

Grove Design is a long-established Engineering Design Consultancy, based in Herefordshire with strong skills in Mechanical and Electronic Engineering, Product Design and Analysis.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SolidWorks CAD Detailer to work on the design of detailed assemblies and components utilising a range of manufacturing processes.  You will produce 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks.    

The ideal candidate will not only be responsible for creating detailed fabrication and assembly drawings but will also update existing designs, whilst collaborating with other engineers to ensure accuracy and manufacturability, supporting prototype builds and troubleshooting design issues.

You’ll work on a variety of exciting projects.   You will need to stay focused when the pressure is on (we do have deadlines). You’ll get the chance to work with and learn from an inspiring team of engineers. 

The studio and workshop are set in beautiful countryside. Within a few steps, you can be strolling through pastures, woodland and alongside the river Arrow (you might even see a kingfisher).
