Anchorman Insurance Consultants Ltd are based in Okehampton and were established in 1998. They have been part of AssuredPartners (one of the Top 10 insurance brokers in UK and Ireland and the 11th biggest in USA) since 2022. Anchorman specialise in providing insurance policies to professionals in the construction industry and have a wide client base extending across the UK.

As a Trainee Insurance Account Handler, you will receive comprehensive training and mentorship to develop your skills in the insurance industry. You will work closely with experienced and qualified staff to learn about various insurance products and client Management. The role will deal with commercial insurance risks from new business requests coming through from clients, to liaising with insurers to closing the deals and adding all details into the computer system. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a rewarding career in insurance

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Keen to advance through insurance qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and strong administrative skills

• Good “people” skills and be a team player
