Banking & Finance Lawyer - In house role in London Area

Job description

We have a new instruction from a major financial institution, who are seeking to hire a senior Banking Lawyer to join their team. This is a full time, permanent position providing support to their Corporate Finance team, providing timely legal advice on Banks Finance and Transactional matters.

The successful candidate will be a qualified lawyer in England & Wales, with at least 5 PQE and considerable in-house Banking experience gained in-house, either in permanent roles or through secondments. They are seeking lawyers with solid experience in corporate and structured finance matters including leveraged transactions, asset finance (e.g. Aviation), real estate finance, project finance and trade finance. Experience advising on inter-bank lending transactions is desirable. Some experience of working with compliance is desirable

There will also be opportunities to get exposure to other areas of law such as commercial contracts, litigation, financial crime, cross-border issues, and Retail Banking.
