MM Search are delighted to be partnering with Alpha Marketing Scotland Ltd, to find a Installations Coordinator to join their Glasgow team.


Job Title: Installations Coordinator

Reporting: Customer Service Manager


Main Purpose: To effectively contribute to all aspects of logistics for our Scotland division and oversee the cycle of order fulfilment. This will include liaising with the Customer Service Manager to ensure timely and effective customer deliveries and installations. This role will include extensive interaction with suppliers and staff who should be dealt with in a professional manner at all times


Key Tasks: The following reflect the main tasks associated with your position and are not intended to be exclusive or exhaustive. You will be required from time-to-time to perform additional tasks as required by the business.


  • Check Installation Diary for scheduled dates, ensuring that customers are contacted in a timely manner to confirm timing and customer availability on the day of delivery/installation
  • Booking in of product into warehouse/site, allocating products to relevant client orders and printing delivery notes
  • Coordinate administration requirements of project delivery with external logistics providers, for example, the provision and sign-off of delivery notes
  • Liase with the purchasing department to ensure deliveries are on schedule from suppliers
  • Coordinate prompt and proactive responses to product quality and installation issues.


Key Skills and Experience:

  • Qualifications – GCSEs to include Mathematics and English (or equivalent)
  • Evident experience in an administration role. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a scheduling/resource planning role.
  • Strong IT skills with experience in Microsoft Office suite (Excel essential) and the routine use of the business ERP SAGE system
  • Full and valid Driving Licence
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally.
  • Confidence to use initiative and demonstrate problem solving capability as well as effective decision making
  • Able to prioritise.
  • Flexibility to meet the needs of project delivery
  • Present excellent customer care with a professional attitude and telephone manner.
