Head of Asset Management (Commercial Property)

Lincoln (hybrid working)

£125,000 pro rata

We’re working with a large, well-respected commercial property business with an outstanding culture and strong values, to recruit an experienced RICS Chartered Surveyor to lead their property asset management strategy.


This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll oversee a significant investment property portfolio, combining strategic vision with hands-on delivery to maximise performance, ensure compliance, and identify growth opportunities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and deliver efficiency savings and income generation opportunities.
  • Drive value creation through effective asset management – lease renewals, rent reviews, and re-gears.
  • Lead the strategic and operational oversight of the investment property portfolio.
  • Oversee property management activities, ensuring compliance with Landlord & Tenant Law, Service Charge Code, and relevant regulations.
  • Provide leadership and support to a property management team and external consultants.
  • Develop and maintain asset management plans for all sites.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (legal, finance) on lease advisory, reporting, and regulatory changes
  • Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting for the portfolio.
  • Manage and enhance property data systems, delivering accurate reporting to stakeholders.


About You

  • Proven experience setting, delivering, and monitoring long-term strategies for a high-value portfolio within a large, complex organisation.
  • Strong commercial awareness and financial management skills.
  • Expertise in Landlord & Tenant Law, Rating Law, and service charge administration.
  • A solid understanding of health & safety compliance in property management.
  • Extensive experience using property data and systems to identify opportunities.
  • A full UK driving licence.
