Role Description


We are seeking a Ladies & Girls Knitwear Designer for a full-time hybrid position based in Greater London, with flexibility for remote working 2 days per week.


This role involves designing innovative knitwear collections with a focus on yarn and stitch development, trend research, and technical execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating mood boards, attending development meetings, sketching commercially relevant designs, and working closely with factories to bring concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities

Research seasonal trends and translate them into commercial knitwear designs

• Develop mood boards, colour palettes, and stitch/yarn direction

• Create clear and accurate design sketches for internal and external presentations

• Work closely with Turkish and regional suppliers to develop and finalise samples

• Attend fittings, design reviews, and internal/external development meetings

• Collaborate with the wider design and sourcing team to align product strategy


Qualifications & Skills

Strong experience in mood board creation and trend forecasting

• Excellent technical knowledge of knitwear construction and techniques

• Skilled in hand sketching and/or digital drawing (Adobe Illustrator proficiency preferred)

• Strong creative flair with a commercial mindset

• Previous experience working with Turkish factories is highly desirable

• Keen eye for detail and garment finishing

• Ability to thrive both independently and within a collaborative team

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field

• A passion for sustainability and experience in responsible fashion practices is a plus
