Community Safety Inspector - London Local Authority
Location: West London
Rate: £19.37 per hour
Contract: 6 months
Hours: Monday to Friday, out in the field
This role requires on-site presence 5 days per week across various estate locations in West London.

What You'll Be Doing
Safety & Compliance Leadership
- Monitor communal areas across our housing estates to ensure Health & Safety and Fire Safety compliance
- Lead comprehensive estate inspection schedules
- Manage and resolve estate issues arising from Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) inspections within target timeframes
Community Partnership
- Work closely with repairs services and contractors to maintain estate standards
- Build strong relationships with H&F repairs call-centre and contractor teams
- Support residents with repair reporting and resolution processes
Emergency Response
- Provide responsive service for estate emergencies including leaks and power outages
- Deliver proactive, consistent service that builds safer communities
What We're Looking For
- Experience in health & safety, property management, or estate services
- Strong understanding of Fire Safety regulations and best practice
- Excellent communication skills for working with residents and contractors
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to work independently
- Commitment to delivering high-quality public services
