Commercial Account Handler – Sales & Service

£35,000 - £45,000 (DOE) + bonus

Office Based – Newcastle under Lyme

Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm (can be flexible)

We’re looking for a personable, detail-focused Commercial Account Handler to join the team. In this role, you’ll be the trusted advisor to existing clients - offering expert insurance advice, identifying opportunities to enhance their cover, and making sure they receive the highest standard of service.

What you’ll be doing

• Building strong, long-term client relationships
• Advising on insurance needs and spotting gaps in cover
• Introducing new products to existing clients where they add value
• Negotiating with insurers to secure the best terms
• Supporting clients with claims, alongside the wider team
• Using systems like Acturis, Excel, and Outlook to manage client accounts efficiently
• Proactively seeking ways to improve processes and client experience

What you’ll bring

• Experience in commercial insurance (Property, Liability, Professional Indemnity)
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• A proactive, organised, and client-first mindset
• Confidence in relationship management and negotiation
• Knowledge of FCA compliance and insurance market appetite
