The Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious, privately owned London Commercial & Residential property company with an exceptional reputation for delivering high-quality, hands-on management services. They are a multi-disciplinary surveying practice. The majority of what they do is Central London Commercial but also have a Residential arm.
This is a pivotal hire, the Head of Residential Property Management will lead the residential arm of the business, taking ownership of a varied and high-value portfolio while mentoring and developing the team. With ambitious plans for expansion, this is a chance to join a company where your expertise will directly influence growth strategy, service innovation, and team structure.
This is an appropriate position for a current Head of or a Senior Property Manager looking for their next step.
The Portfolio You’ll Oversee
- 500 residential units (across several prime residential blocks with management responsibilities shared between you and a dedicated Block Property Manager.
- 150 AST’s again these a super prime Central London assets. A Property Manager managing this portfolio in its entirety
- A mix of prime London properties with engaged landlords and a service-driven tenant base.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the residential management team to deliver outstanding service.
- Oversee all aspects of property management including inspections, compliance, planned maintenance, tenant engagement, and contractor oversight.
- Manage budgets, service charges, and financial reporting to the highest professional standards.
- Drive asset performance by planning refurbishments, capital works, and sustainability initiatives.
- Be the primary contact for senior stakeholders, providing strategic advice and clear reporting.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the future direction of the residential department and support business growth plans.

About You
- Significant experience in residential property management, ideally with large-scale or multi-site portfolios.
- Strong understanding of residential legislation, compliance, and health & safety.

- Commercially minded, with the confidence to challenge and improve existing processes.
