Job Overview

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I) specialist to lead and shape the organisation’s ED&I strategy. This is not an HR generalist role, we want someone with deep expertise in ED&I, proven experience of delivering impactful change, and a strong track record of influencing at all levels.

In this 7 month fixed-term contract, part-time role (3 days per week, with flexibility on which days), you’ll work closely with senior leaders, teams, and stakeholders to embed ED&I into the heart of their culture, policies, and practices. You’ll champion a workplace where everyone can thrive, feel valued, and contribute their best.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of the organisation’s ED&I strategy.
  • Partner with senior leadership to ensure ED&I is embedded in all aspects of decision-making.
  • Develop and deliver initiatives that foster an inclusive workplace culture.
  • Monitor progress against ED&I objectives, using data and feedback to drive improvements.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to share best practice.
  • Act as an ambassador for ED&I, inspiring colleagues and influencing change across the organisation.

About You:

  • Significant, demonstrable experience in a dedicated ED&I role.
  • Proven ability to lead ED&I programmes at organisational level, not just as part of wider HR responsibilities.
  • Strong influencing skills with the confidence to challenge constructively.
  • Skilled in analysing data and using insights to shape ED&I strategies.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, able to engage audiences from the boardroom to the front line.
  • Passionate about creating environments where diversity is celebrated and inclusion is the norm.

What We Offer:

  • Warm, welcoming, and values-led culture.
  • 7 month fixed-term contract.
  • Part-time (3 days per week).
  • Hybrid working – 1 day a week in the office (flexible)
  • Opportunity to make a real, measurable difference in a supportive environment.

If you’re an ED&I specialist looking for a role where your expertise will be valued and your impact will be felt, we’d love to hear from you.
