Head of Conveyancing | Greater Manchester | Ownership Prospects

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to take the reins of a busy department at a long-established, well-respected high street firm in Greater Manchester.

The Firm

This is a personable, community-focused practice with deep roots in the local area and a loyal client base built up over decades. The firm’s reputation is built on quality, trust, and approachability, and they are proud of their friendly, down-to-earth culture. Around 80-90% of the firms work across conveyancing and wills & probate comes through word of mouth and reputation, as opposed to actively sourcing via business development.

With the current owners planning for retirement over the next few years, all fee-earners within the departments have succession planning prospects. F

The Role

You will oversee the day-to-day running of the conveyancing department, managing a varied caseload of residential transactions from instruction through to post-completion, including:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases

• New build and shared ownership transactions

You will be working closely alongside the existing partnership, contributing with ideas on how to further the success of the firm.

Requirements

• Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or CILEX with strong conveyancing experience
