Job description

Globally recognised for its large-scale, high-end hospitality and mixed-use developments, this acclaimed design studio is seeking a talented and collaborative Planner to join its growing team. Known for delivering thoughtfully integrated design in extraordinary locations, this is an opportunity to contribute to world-class resort, residential, and urban planning projects across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. As a Planner, you'll work closely with architects, designers, and senior team members to develop land use strategies and spatial concepts for medium to large-scale projects. You’ll play a key role in shaping planning deliverables through research, design development, and drawing production - contributing to each phase of the project, from early concept to detailed master planning. This role would suit someone with a solid grounding in urban design, landscape architecture, or resort master planning, who is ready to grow in a fast-paced, international design environment.

Job Description:

  • Support the delivery of design and planning work across complex, high-profile hospitality and mixed-use projects
  • Develop masterplans, zoning layouts, land use plans, and planning documents through all design phases
  • Contribute to concept generation, research, feasibility analysis, and site strategies
  • Produce design sketches, technical drawings, presentations, and planning reports
  • Liaise with internal teams and external consultants to ensure alignment with project vision
  • Assist in applying municipal planning codes and land use guidelines, where required
  • Collaborate closely with regulatory teams to ensure compliance with local planning frameworks
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to quality assurance of design output

Key Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, or Landscape Architecture
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in resort, residential, or urban planning projects
  • Strong visual communication and freehand sketching skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp; familiarity with Rhino, Revit, and GIS tools is a plus
  • Strong grasp of sustainability and environmental analysis preferred
  • Comfortable working with zoning codes, planning regulations, and large site planning
  • Able to balance creative thinking with technical rigour in a team setting
  • This is a rare chance to join a globally active design practice where your work will shape the planning of landmark destinations in some of the world’s most dynamic and luxurious settings. You’ll be exposed to a broad range of locations, cultures, and planning challenges - all while working at the forefront of contemporary design.
