ISS Facility Services UK is looking for an HSEQ Advisor in Scotland
Job description
- Mon to Fri, regular hours
- Hybrid role - home based with travel focused on central belt, but some travel further afield to north Scotland
- Salary plus car or 5.6k allowance, healthcare, pension, holidays
Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers following the acquisition of a truly major Government contract are looking to develop the Health & Safety Resource aligned against the Account, where you will ensure H&S across all service lines, including Engineering Maintenance, Cleaning, Catering & Security across the client's complete Estate
The Estate includes offices, conference centres and highstreet facilities of various sizes and age. The sheer volume and range of works across these sites represents a major challenge from a HSEQ perspective
Here, working with other HSEQ professionals, and reporting into a Senior HSEQ Manager you will play a driving part across the Account, working with internal and client stakeholders
Actions will include:
- Support, coach and mentor the operational teams on HSEQ matters and provide competent HSEQ advice
- Facilitate the successful deployment of HSEQ mobilisation plan
- Understand and identify where the significant risk areas are within the mobilisation plan
- Live and breath Global and UK&I campaigns and initiatives including Safe Choice, Global HSE programmes and Wellbeing
- Interact with other third parties such as Local Authorities, HSE and Environment Agency
- Work closely and flexibly with other HSEQ team members to facilitate success
- Understand which tasks are the responsibility of other stakeholders within employer and remain laser focussed on executing the tasks which is within the role
- Understand how to use business reporting tools such as Insight to identify areas of risk and provide advice and guidance on how to address issues
We need from you:
- Clear, strong HSEQ experience within the Built Environment, ideally covering higher risk activities such as Engineering, and Nebosh General minimum
