Our regulatory lawyers advise international and domestic FinTech service providers, including payment institutions, e-money institutions, crypto asset service providers and other businesses. We have extensive experience in providing regulatory advice on Irish, EU and UK regulatory regimes.
Through our well-established relationships with local law firms around the globe, we also offer ROW multi-jurisdictional advice on regulatory matters. Our objective is to assist clients in integrating their regulatory policies on a global basis minimising operational variations wherever possible.
Role Description
This is FinTech/Payments/Crypto Lawyer role in Dublin, Ireland, for clients based in Ireland and beyond. The role is hybrid, with the primary location in Dublin but allows for work from home flexibility. Daily tasks include regulatory advice/reviews, engagement with EU institutions, Irish Institutions, input into legislative process, briefing of clients and commercial advice. A significant part of the role will also be providing secretariat support for the Ireland branch of the Electronic Money Association (EMA), including organising meeting agendas, engaging with speakers, briefing members and managing communications with the Central Bank of Ireland and the Department of Finance.
Skills/Qualifications (2-5 years)
- Qualification to practice law in Ireland (essential)
- Legal/Regulatory/Compliance
- Expertise in payments/crypto/FinTech regulation and financial law
- Experience in representing organizations in legal and policy matters
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Knowledge of FinTech and AI industry trends
- Law degree and relevant legal certifications
- Commercial and practical approach as well as contracting skills
