Our well established HR Consultancy client is looking for an experienced part-time (Suffolk based) HR Advisor to join their growing team.

Permanent, Part-Time (22.5 hours/week, Mon–Wed)

Salary: £29,000–£32,500 FTE (pro-rata based on experience and qualifications)

Location: Home-based with travel across Suffolk (You must live in Suffolk)

Role Overview

Provide professional HR advisory and consultancy services across various industries. Support clients with operational HR matters including policy development, employee relations, recruitment, and training. Deliver services remotely and on-site, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Advise clients on HR policies, procedures, and employment law

- Respond to client queries via helpdesk, email, and phone

- Conduct investigations and support disciplinary, grievance, and capability processes

- Prepare HR documentation (contracts, letters, reports)

- Maintain accurate client records and personnel files

- Monitor legislative changes and update clients accordingly

- Build strong client relationships and promote high service standards

- Support internal quality assurance and continuous improvement

- Ensure compliance with GDPR and health & safety regulations

- Participate in CPD and performance reviews

Skills & Experience

- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent organisational and time management abilities

- Proficient in IT and HR systems
