Head of Private Client

Working for a fast-growing, forward-thinking law firm in Stoke-on-Trent

Paying up to 80K plus many other benefits.

The role will predominantly involve estate and tax planning for business owners and their families, and supervising wills, probate and court of protection matters.

Key Responsibilities of Head of Client Include:

1. Head and develop a pre-existing team of lawyers and support staff;

2. Manage a varied and interesting workload whilst supervising other members of your team;

3. Work with the Risk Team to ensure full adherence to compliance policies;

4. Agree and deliver department targets;

5. Contribute to the growth of the department by means of internal and external business

development;

6. Assist in the training and development of your team (individually and as a group);

The ideal Head of Client will need to have/be:

1. Ability to handle a caseload whilst supervising others;

2. STEP Membership;

3. IT proficiency;

4. Interest in business and their owners and their families;

5. 7 plus years qualified;

6. Commercial awareness.

7. Experience of Administration of taxable estates, Business LPAs, Complex Wills, Family

Investment Companies/Partnerships, Tax, Trusts,
