Regional HR Business Partner – Midlands (UK-wide coverage)

Based in the Midlands

£70,000 + Excellent Benefits

Initial 12 Month FTC


Our client, a leading logistics business, is seeking an experienced Regional HR Business Partner to join their team. This is a UK-wide role, based in the Midlands, focused on stakeholder management and strategic HR partnership rather than ER casework.


The Role

The Regional HR Business Partner will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the people agenda across a complex and fast-moving environment. Acting as a trusted advisor, they will guide and influence senior stakeholders, particularly in relation to driver engagement and retention, while ensuring alignment between people initiatives and business objectives.


This role requires a self-sufficient and solutions-focused individual who can operate with autonomy, balance competing priorities, and deliver meaningful impact across multiple sites.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partnering with senior leaders to deliver strategic HR guidance and drive organisational performance.
  • Leading and supporting people initiatives that focus on driver engagement and operational workforce support.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the UK, influencing and challenging where required.
  • Delivering HR projects and programmes to improve capability, culture, and business outcomes.
  • Supporting the continuous development of HR practices in a complex, unionised environment.


Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will demonstrate:


  • Proven HR Business Partner experience in a large, complex organisation, ideally within logistics, transport, or a related sector.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility quickly.
  • Experience working effectively in a unionised environment, with the ability to build constructive relationships with trade union representatives.
  • A proactive, self-sufficient, and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Resilience and adaptability when navigating organisational complexity.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to align HR strategy with operational goals.
