Procurement Specialist in Filton (Bristol).


Your Role:


Lead & Influence: Manage strategic supplier partnerships worldwide, ensuring long-term competitiveness and resilience in the aerospace supply chain.


Drive Value: Develop and execute procurement strategies that optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance, directly contributing to ambitious cost-reduction and value-creation initiatives.


Collaborate Globally: Act as a key interface between suppliers and internal multi-disciplinary teams, including engineering, quality, program, and supply chain.


Take Ownership: Lead complex negotiations, oversee supplier performance, and make decisions that shape procurement strategies across multiple aerospace programs.


Innovate for the Future: Play a key role in strengthening supply chain processes and contributing to pioneering aerospace projects that push technological boundaries.



What We Are Looking For:



  • Minimum 5 years of Experience in Materials or Parts Procurement within the Aerospace industry.
  • Procurement Expertise: Strong knowledge of end-to-end procurement processes, from sourcing and tendering (CFTs) through to contract award and lifecycle management.
  • Commercial Acumen: Proven ability to negotiate and manage complex supplier contracts with a focus on pricing, terms, and long-term value.
  • Financial & Analytical Skills: Understanding of how procurement impacts business performance, including cost reduction and operating plan contributions; strong ability to analyze supplier data and performance metrics.
  • Systems & Tools: Comfortable working with ERP systems (such as SAP) and skilled in tracking and reporting supplier performance across Quality, Support, Logistics, and Delivery.
  • Fluency in English is required.
