An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and motivated Associate to join a well-established and highly regarded Real Estate team in London.

Your new role

This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of commercial property matters, with a particular focus on landlord and tenant work, investment transactions, and development projects.

You'll be joining a collaborative and supportive team that is part of a national property group, with access to specialist expertise in areas such as Real Estate Finance, Planning, Construction, and Litigation. The London team advises a broad client base including national retailers, developers, investors, and lenders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Advising on acquisitions and disposals of investment property, including sale and leaseback transactions
  • Drafting and negotiating leases and associated documents for both landlords and tenants
  • Handling site acquisitions for development and investment, including development agreements and onward disposals
  • Supervising junior colleagues on property portfolio management
  • Reviewing and reporting on title matters and heads of terms
  • Coordinating with other legal teams (e.g. Corporate, Banking, Construction) on real estate transactions

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales (ideally 2-4 years PQE)
  • Strong experience in commercial property law.
  • Solid background in landlord and tenant matters.
  • Proactive and commercially minded approach.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Enthusiasm for business development and networking.
  • Financial awareness and attention to detail.
