Location: Hybrid, with travel as required
Type: Permanent
We are looking for an experienced Service Designer to join our growing digital and technology team. You will work on high-profile projects across government and commercial clients, helping to design services that are user-centred, accessible, and deliver real impact.
The Role
As a Service Designer, you will:
- Lead and contribute across the full service design lifecycle, from research and ideation to prototyping and delivery.
- Champion user-centred design and accessibility, applying GDS standards and inclusive practices.
- Produce clear design artefacts such as user journeys, service blueprints, personas, and service concepts.
- Facilitate workshops, design sprints and ideation sessions with stakeholders and users.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (UX, research, product, engineering) in an agile environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience delivering service design in complex environments.
- Strong understanding of GDS service standards and agile delivery.
- Ability to create and present design outputs clearly to diverse audiences.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- SC Clearance, or eligibility to obtain (UK resident for 5+ years).
